Alchemy

The work of Copenhagen based artist Lolita Pelegrime transports the energy and vitality of everyday moments into artworks full of depth and texture.

Through Alchemy, Pelegrime captures an intimate moment between two figures, their interlocking hands translated through rich, textured oil paint on canvas. The blue and black tones of the figures clothing sit against a vibrant background in yellow, each stroke of the paintbrush adding to a composition full of texture and movement.

This print is produced in Denmark under the Swan certification system. This artwork is complemented with a light brown wood frame.

Lolita Pelegrime is a Lithuanian artist, living and working in Copenhagen since 2012. Growing up with a multitude of women in her family, she developed a deep appreciation for their stories and experiences, which are often reflected in her artwork.  

Lolita obtained a bachelor’s degree in ceramics at the Art Academy of Vilnius, complementing her earlier education at the Kaunas School of Applied Arts and the Kaunas Antanas Martinaitis School of Art. Her paintings have been exhibited in Denmark, Lithuania, and Germany, among others.
