When is the new store opening?

Where is the new store located?
The new Mkt showroom will be conveniently located at 95 Ronald Avenue, directly across from the showrooms of our sister brands, Elte and Ginger's.
Why are you moving?
We're relocating to be closer to Elte and Ginger's, offering a more seamless shopping experience between our sister brands. This move gives us the opportunity to introduce a fresh perspective for Mkt—evolving from a large industrial setting into a spacious and thoughtfully designed space that better reflects who we are today.
Will the current store be closed before the move?
Yes, the current Mkt showroom will close its doors around March 24th, 2025. The new showroom will open shortly thereafter to ensure a smooth transition. We will do everything we can to make the move as quick and seamless as possible, minimizing any disruption to your shopping experience.
Will the new showroom be smaller in size?
The new showroom is roughly the same size as our previous showroom. The space will feature enhanced natural light, creating a brighter and more inviting shopping experience.
What is the difference between Elte and Mkt?
Elte, a family-owned business for over a century, is Toronto’s destination for heirloom-quality furniture, rugs, and accessories, showcasing a thoughtfully curated assortment of storied vintage and antiques, international brands, and Elte-designed collections. Its modern counterpart, Mkt, launched in 2014 by fourth-generation Elte owners Jamie and Andrew Metrick, focuses on design-forward, customizable pieces for contemporary living. Together, Elte and Mkt embody a shared vision of pushing design forward.

Will all the products and services still be available at the new location?
Yes, the new location will continue to offer the same exceptional selection of rugs, furniture, and decor, along with all the services you’ve come to expect from us.
Where can I find the Outlet after the move?
After the move, the Elte Outlet will be conveniently located as a store within a store inside the new Mkt showroom. You’ll find it towards the back of the showroom.
Will there be any changes to store hours?
Our store hours will remain unchanged. For the most up-to-date information, please visit our Showroom & Hours page.
Will the contact number for the store and associates remain the same?
Yes, all contact numbers for the store and associate extensions will remain the same.
Navigation and Parking
Is there parking available at the new location?
Yes, the new location provides ample parking to ensure a convenient shopping experience.
How do I get to the new store?
The new store is conveniently located at the southeast corner of Ronald Avenue and Castlefield Avenue. Parking is available on-site as well as across the street on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Orders
What happens to my existing orders during the move?
All existing orders will be fulfilled as scheduled, and we will keep you informed of any updates or changes during the move.
Online and Digital
Will the website reflect the new location?
Yes, our website will be updated with the new address, store hours, and contact information to keep everything current.
Can I still shop online during the move?
Absolutely! Our online store will remain fully operational throughout the transition, so you can continue shopping without interruption.
